Be carefull that the leg shaft is not seized to the crankshaft!
Yamaha advises that the spline on the lower leg shaft be lubricated every year!

I cant seam to find MEK or Tolulene locally to do some repair work on my boat!
Is there any other Solvent I can use to replace the Mek, like Acetone or Xilene?

You will have to rejet and adjust the carb setting to run the engine at that altitude, and probaly retard ignition timing!

Always mix a liter or so of gas with the quantity of fuel stabelizer then dump it into the tank!
The stabelizer tends to run down the fillhose ad adhere to it not all draining in to the tank....

I Have a 25n and as far as i now it is similar to the 20d. At least it shears the same displacement and gearbox.


I will look tomorow at the two service manuals and try to cross reference...

It depends on what type of engine it is! If its a 2 cylinder them it's a 20/25 hp, If its an 3 cylinder than you have a 25/30 hp engine.
