hi,

I found on boatlaunch website, that freckleton boatyard has a slipway and launch is £10. But there isn't much more info and no website. Has anyone launched here? Or know much about it? Also...

there is a camping and caravan site by the lake in keswick can't remember its name but if you look on the camping and caravan website you will find it. That is right by the lake and you can launch...

can you use long or short shafts on SIBs? as when looking for one on ebay most tend to have short shafts, but one i have come across has a long shaft, would that work ok?

yeah i've looked on there, but doesn't seem to be much at preston appart from the marina, thought there might have been a slipway near by. Its a shame about the lake district cos its a lovely place...
