Changing MMSI - sorry guys I'm easily confused

I have a rib registered in the IoM but with a MMSI number issued by Bristol.

If I sell it to a guy without a radio licence, do I

a) just inform Bristol the boat has gone and the contact...

Should I renew my ICC?

Hi guys

My ICC comes up for renewal in November 2007

1) Do I have to do any 'renewal/refresher' test

2) Given the comments on other threads, would international charterers be more impressed...

I have a Magellan 315 hand held as back up GPS. About 5 years old, never had a problem...until I switched it on over Xmas and nothing came up.

Batteries I thought....so I sourced some new...

My wife bought me a handy little compressor that plugs into the cig lighter (or the little socket for the icebox in the boot on my incredibly gadgety CRV Honda).

Perfect for low pressure starts...

I think the IoM is less than 50 miles west of Blackpool (don't have my chart handy to check....) You could combine a short break in the delightful island with a service at Yachthaven Marine......

For what it's worth I went straight to Yachtmaster theory, and found no difficulty in coping with the chartwork, rules of road etc. I was at a college, but the tutor was (and still is) a keen sailor...
