I would have thought it would work as a one off...

I would have thought it would work as a one off but you would be at displacement speeds so it would not be ideal.

200 KVA is pretty huge for domestic use, I guess they would cost upwards of 20 grand.

What sort of equipment will you be powering? An inductive load will require a higher KVA than a resistive...

Thanks Geoffs, that worked great, I now have the radio linked to our Garmin GPS and they talk to each other correctly. I wish standard had the manuals on line Garmin do.
