I find that a lot of people get confused between cavitation and ventilation. What most boats suffer when put into a tight turn is ventilation rather than cavitation.

Cavitation is what you suffer...

Etec 150 fuel usage

Hi Peter,

I can happily say that my Etec on the Rib-X 650 eXpert uses between 18 and 22 litres an hour when running at about 3000 revs and 25 knots.

I can happily go across to Cowes and back on...
