Read the title of the thread. It says 'deep V'. That is what I would prefer, so no, not any old rib.

But hey, if deep V's are so hard to come by, then I'll just have to rethink won't I?

A couple of years ago I bought a brand new Honda CRV to my spec. Waited a month.

Having said that, if they had had the same spec in stock, but blue or silver instead of black, I probably would...

I would simply like to buy a high quality 4.7 to 5.2m deep V rib from a company that has a good reputation. I don't need lots of bells and whistles, I'm not fussy about the colour and I would be...

Ribcraft must know what they sell most of. If it's two jockeys with basic console, then make a few of them.

If there is demand for more boats, then why not make them? Higher turnover should =...

I'm no expert on this, but it seems to me that whilst most ribs have a fairly deep, sharp bow, where they differ most is at the rear. My Capelli had a fairly flat V at the back whilst the pictures of...

Why a deep V?

I have just sold our Capelli 5.70m with 100 Yam for a shade under 20 000 Euros (3 years old, 39 hours).

We need a smaller, more workmanlike boat, for a bit less money, and I'm looking at Ribcraft...

Interesting comments.......

It was our local Yamaha certified mechanic that gave me the tip.

Perhaps the best bet is to leave it half in, half out, i.e. engine centered......, hey who cares,...

Anti corrosion tip

This one may well be known to some of the salty sea dogs out there, but I didn't and thought it quite a useful one;

When the boat is being kept at sea, or going into storage, turn the engine fully...

The wind is onshore being from the West, but one small crumb of comfort is that in heading towards Belle Ile, we are heading due West, so the island itself should provide some protection.

Turns...
