30 ft custom built rib "War Machine"
Unfortunately I must sell my boat. Serious illness (cancer) necessitates this so it sucks.
Ex military custom built to mil specs. 3/8 inch aluminum plate keel, topsides 1/8 to 1/4 inch aluminum....

Faster than a canoe...
Never can remember exactly what the old Raymarine says regarding speed, for me its about the ride which is always enjoyable no matter what speed I'm traveling at... I'd hazard a guess at between 50...

don't think the boat manufacturer would design the hull (transom well) without taking shaft length into consideration...

Waste is right, just goes to show the government has "money to burn"!
I suppose they NEEDED to use running motors but being as there is quite a bit of flammable stuff on a outboard motor I think...
