Verado 275 to 300 conversion

Does anyone know whether the 275 Verado can be converted to full 300 spec and what parts are involved? Is it just an ECU change?

Verado 275

Interested in any first hand experience of this engine. Pros and cons. Real world performance and feedback including the DTS system. How does the power steering feel? Are the SC1000 guages useful?...

Mercury DTS

Does anyone have the Mercury Digital Throttle and Shift (https://www.mercurymarine.com/digital_throttle_and_shift_dts)?

I take it this is an option for Optimax engines? If so any ideas how much?
