Anchoring a 7.8m rib on a sandy seabed

Just about to head off on our summer hols to the hebrides. We use a 7.5kg bruce anchor to moor the rib overnight with bags of chain but i want to take a smaller anchor for just anchoring her off...

Thanks for the reply - it looks like drying out in Scarinish is the only real option. Presume its a sandy bottom so should be ok provided i remember to put the engine up!
