On your picture, the red line is pointing to a handle, this handle is seized, is this a lock for the engine, to stop it tilting ?.

Was out trying to locate the numbers on the engine, where would they be located.

Please find pics of the engine, the catch at the back looks pretty seized.

Now the engine says Yamaha autolube 50, is this also the trade name for mariner ?

petrol tank v battery

Looks like I will try to seperate them, will need to cut out the front of the console, to allow access to the battery.

Will post with updates on the various stages, away out to free the jockey...

I have downsized the photo's, although I have now lost some of the frame. The petrol tank is next to the battery, is this common practice ?.
