Gerry, not much use for you but starting them young helps – ie baby onwards! That way it’s nothing is new. Sarah G is also right about keeping them warm and getting the right kit. Lots of food also...

There is also quite often a QHM dory hanging around to trap the unsuspecting who do not call up. I think in theory you also have to pass to the North of the ballast post after you cross.
