well surprise surprise went to check kill cord...

well surprise surprise went to check kill cord today it was ok, turned the engine over and 3rd turn i fired up, anyway thanks again for the help, boab.

thanks for the replies folks, the kill cord sounds good, as the battery is new but stereo was left on, on the last outing, and i charged the battery for about 30 hrs, so it should have had enough...

hi , i think the key switch choke is only for carb engines and not for injections as injection engines dont require choke,( i could be wrong )

thanks to all who tried to help, finally got the gauges to work, sincere thanks to jeff who copied the installation manual and posted it to me and that did the trick, thanks again, boab.

thanks jeff, things starting to fall into place, i take it the 5 pin d plug that comes of the tacho and goes into the control box, supplys the info to the gauges. and i will maybe take you up on...
