Just out of interest what is your record behind the helm of a rib non-stop? Would love to hear some of your stories? I have done much longer runs but time wise i think 19 hours non stop is probably...

top end speed
hi,
sorry for the late reply... both ribs achieve a similar top end speed of about 39 knots and cruise at 30 knots.
with a bit more room the 650 could probably chieve an extra 2 or 3 knots but...

i have an ex-demo 750 parker baltic with cummins mercruiser 320 hp diesel.(bravo 1 drive and s/s prop)
the boat is new 2011 year model, however the engine was also ex demo and has 300 hours....

tapered tubes
As Andre said it's not a problem... and even if you look closely at the photos you will see that the swiss boat on display has had the tube slightly tapered.
it is not built like most Parker...
