Its so cheap to have the oil analysed it would of been the first thing on my list of things to do. It can show you problems befor thay do to much harm. like bearing failings.

Yes i have wired a fair few. we use wema senders and get them to make it to usa spec. to get it to read the right way round. or if not there is some swiches on the back of the gauge to make it read...

What was that for a unit or to service it. volvos are dear to buy same as yam's but volvo put a lot of money in to training and back up for there dearlers wich then in turn makes a beter boating life...

Yes we service a boat up in london on Hams jets with perkins on the back its about 30foot dose 30knots. the jets are very reliable. all the boats we do in london are on jets of some make.

As much water over the top half of the leg as pos as when its on the plane it heats the oil so much.
