Unfortunately it is far easier to use tidal waters than inland waters for any sort of powerboating in the UK. But it is possible to use the canals and rivers other powered crafts (like narrow boats)...

If you want a V hull SIB it has to be an Aerotec...

If you want a V hull SIB it has to be an Aerotec and it is the white inflatable floor that creates the V. To be sure we need a photo of the floor but as others have said it sounds like it is missing...
