hello had similar on mine when mounted flush on Rib . Water used to get in the main fist mike socket and cut transmission like the problem you have.

Go for the C120 you will never look back . Imagine having a rib with out air in the tubes then this would be a good comparison with other makes and models :thumbs: and no I do not work for Raymarine...
