Why bother filling it with foam? Or am I missing something. It's not like gas is gonna get back in it.

I suppose I just don't see how its chemically possible for silicone to penetrate that deep into the fabric. I have done quite a bit of hypalon repairs and a lot of rubber comes off before glueing...

Not trying to argue for the sake of argument just curious why the Autoglym stuff is supposed to be bad. Just read through its data sheet and it says it's water soluble. So I don't see why a cleaner...

The shaft on the motor can shear from what I have heard. It's a matter of un bolting the motor and replacing the shaft. I have heard of guys just grinding a tool down to fit the shaft but not sure.
