Removing lettering from tubes

Just bought a Rib and it has the old companies web site address down both sides. Would prefer to remove it rather than cover in over, does anyone have any experience in how to remove it, I'm sure...

Thought we had fixed the problem, but gave her a run to Coll last week and the alarm was still going off. More than happy to cruise at 25knts but would be nice to push her up to 30knts...
