Hypalon repair

Is this how tubes on the searider normally attach to the transom & is the fact it's worn away something to worry about? I was thinking of repairing it by putting a patch over the top?

I live in Jersey but I suspect it will be true for all the Islands. As we're not part of the EU or UK, we are only governed by Jersey law which means dealers in the UK who legally supply 2 strokes...

Engine for 5.4 searider

From what I've read, the conventional 90hp yamaha seems to be a popular engine for the Searider 5.4.
If I was going to buy a new engine, would this still be the best choice or are the four strokes...

Advice on old Searider 5.4

I'm looking at buying an 1993 mil spec Searider 5.4 with a Mariner 50. It appears to be in reasonable condition (a few patches on tubes), but age of engine is unknown (but seems in good condition)....
