All sorted ,not leaking now.Below the black filter is indeed a vapour separator.This has a float mechanism inside which can stick to open...

Thanks.The tube is fine,not dozed and no connection issues.It drains into the sea at other end.No split tubes or poor connections in system

Thanks for reply Palsteg, Yes ,its the MFS30B long shaft tiller, and I get plenty of spray entering rib.My transom has been reduced by 3inches so I will raise it after the summer season.
