I ended up wiring my 8 and 12 ah battery together...

I ended up wiring my 8 and 12 ah battery together in parallel under my seat.
Larger tupperware box was also required.
Voltage is fine now with no overcharging.

Yup I did that with my last ones too, even drilled a set of horizontal pins as well that way I couldn't put the wheels on the wrong way.
I reckon I've put the pins in the holes meant for the upward...

What did impresd me with the new Tohatsu 9.8hp running along at 12mph on the plane was how quiet it is in comparison to the single cylinder 6hp at the same speed.

He says the kit they sold me should regulate the voltage going into the battery hence it is a regulator/ rectifier combo.

Battery charging voltage

Managed out in my sib a few days ago to break in my new Tohatsu 9.8hp 4 stroke.
The engine has a rectifier/ charging coil fitted to it.
On rigging the charging circuit up to my little 12 volt 7ah...
