just purchased two manual life jackets they are brand new never out of package, but the co2 cartridge is out of date would you use them or replace cartridge.

i use both a 15hp yamaha and a 20hp yamaha both...

i use both a 15hp yamaha and a 20hp yamaha both two strokes though the 15
is easier to handle at 36kg it pushes my 4mtr avon well but when the 20hp is on it makes it fly even with three big lads on.

why should the seams be week, i have a 1980s avon thats in cracking condition as you say the boat has been stored well semi inflated so can,t see a problem
if it was a pvc boat ok could have problem...

to fit floor first push part 1 into slot at transom then install side stringers now slide floor parts 2 and 3 into stringers angle floor up boat partially...

i would say its worth £650max, i purchased a cracking s400 with trailer for £475 yours being a 550 would need a bit of muscle to get that in water.still it looks a cracking boat.

i use a additive like red x in my car to keep injectors and fuel system clean
on bottle it says for all petrol engines would it be ok in a 2 stroke outboard.

converting 20hp to 25hp

just got a cracking late 80s early 90s 20hp yamaha 2 stroke this is the same motor as the 25 what is needed to convert it to a 25hp thanks.

i tow my sib 4mtr avon ,with the motor in back of car tried towing with motor on transom but going over speed bumps is a nightmare the back end bounces like mad even with a strap on motor.
