Just a general question
Would you consider it normal for a mariner 2 stroke 40 to be a little 'lumpy' at idle?
Before I go and take the carb apart to give it a good clean which I am a bit reluctant...

Yep I am glad I have sorted mine before wiring up my nice new radio to the boat and pumping 17 volts into that!
I wish I did a bit more research before I went on eBay and bought the same Rectifier...
