I keep mine at the outboard as well, I have changed the engine trim to compensate. I find that I rarely use this area so in essence gives me more overall room.
I did however buy fuel line to move it...

P.S. the honwave is around 45 kg, engine 51 kg, both quite heavy. My previous sib had a metal floor, that was around 30 kg plus another 30 kg for the floor, it was a major pain to build and dismantle...

Thanks :thumbs: , at least it's a 25, the carb looked quite a bit smaller than my evinrude 1984 25 hp so i was a bit worried, can live with it being a little bit older as it seems to be in very good...

Mariner 25 hp age and power rating ???

Hi, yesterday i bought a mariner shortshaft outboard for my sib, i was told it was a spare engine with the RNLI , a 25 hp mariner, 2001.
Could someone in the know confirm age and HP with the engine...
