So my engine was running at around 50% efficiency given that I had used around half the tank.

I had a 15hp Mariner outboard with my Yam 340S SIB, and it performed well, getting the boat onto the plane, and a top speed of 15 mph.

Unfortunately the engine was stolen at the weekend. :mad:

Techniques for launching without a slipway?

I have a 3-meter long Yam inflatable, with a 15hp outboard motor.
With a slipway it is easy to launch - I just attach the wheels to the stern, pick it up at the bow, and roll it down the slope....
