Found a different unit, it's a 3.3 m pro-maxi with a 15hp 2 stroke, looks in good condition, may give it punt..... But like all things, as soon as you seriously start to look the supply drys up...!...

Thanks everyone for the advice, will continue the search for an outfit. I also got an insurance quote from Howdon (spelling?), they quoted for a SIB with 15hp engine £85 pa or £110 pa with towing...

9.9hp enough to tow...?

Looking at SIB/outboards on EBay, is a 3.4m SIB with a 9.9hp OK for towing a doughnut for small children or will it struggle..? Would it be better to go for 15hp...?

Thanks for the help. We were there the last week of July, we then went on for two weeks in the med. However we enjoyed the week so much we've decided to stay there this year for all our holiday....
