you only get an hour either side of high in grannys bay but longer if you go up the ribble theres a marina at the lytham dock so you can have a wee cruise round there 2 hours either side of high water

didnt get out today miserable weather. main problem at grannys bay is tide height. it needs to be 8.5 metre to give sufficent depth, today was 7m and there is no water in grannys bay at high tide....

got out on ribble at lytham on sat for an hour. was well happy with my yam300s and suzi df6. planed nicely with me and 2 5yr olds on board, although it did take time to get on plane.
