The fiberglass hull of my zodiac has quite a few barnacle feet. All of the barnacles have been removed, so just the impossibly strong barnacle foot adhesive remains.

Lots to consider! Sounds like ones choice of an anchor depends largely on what types of waters they navigate.

Considering that the motor is typically half the cost of the boat...

So it sounds like it is a way to make sure your engine cooling system is not clogged with debris. But who knows if it is worth the extra expense of the gauge and installation.

Maybe a good choice? Not cheap but not worthless and lightweight like some of the PWC anchor...

Fortunately I have not had to replace much on my boat yet. I bet a local marine...

Yes I have a year 2000 so unfortunately it has the louder/older 2 stroke yamaha. Has a lot of power though!
