Why is the engine offset? And then it i raised as you tell it the cav.plate is aprox 2.5" above the keel? Does this work well?
I dont have any engine yet, but is considering E-tec...

Avon SR5 transom height

I just bought an SR5. When I measured the transom the height it showed 22". Since it is said to be long shaft (20") does this mean that the cav plate schall be 2" high? Anybody that have any...
