Any smart 3.5-4m packages for sale?

I was set on a RIB but have swayed with the idea of a nice larger SIB with trailer etc. Half of the ones I see seem to have total wrecks of a trailer underneath them, no spare wheel, home made...

Trailer SIB and launching

Those of you with a ~4m SIB on a bunk trailer, can you launch it in shallow water without floating off? I.e. is it easy enough to slide off the bunks and same on retrieve?

I'm thinking a hand...

Thanks for the replies.

I'd be happy enough keeping it outside if it's got a good full cover. So the search begins for a 4-5m RIB up to £6000 with a decent 4 stroke

Small RIBS, total length on trailer.

Would I get a 4m RIB on trailer in a 5 metre garage? It's probably wishful thinking!

If not, what size WOULD fit? 3.5m? I'm looking at small RIBS for summer that'll cope with the wife and 2 kids...

I'd love to try someone's 65kg boat to see.

Maybe I should use mine and put an extra water-filled 20 litre water drum in it.

Heaviest boat/engine for solo launching

Using transom wheels, how heavy is your setup if you launch it off beaches solo?

Currently using my Yam310 (45kg) and tohatsu (26kg). I'm considering a Voltaire 390 or wolfstar KW370 so it's...

I'd go with ply boards with short bits of rope and snap carabiners on the ends to clip onto the carry rope/handles.

That seems a familiar issue, poor parking at Dunbar as well for example. Quieter areas would be best, it's just knowing which ones are suitable.

SIB launch spots, Scottish east coast

Where do you take your SIB over east that you can't take a trailered boat? Any good firm beaches etc? I'm thinking Dunbar, Eyemouth and Arbroath sort of areas.

Thanks
