Sounds like its best to have ignition alert off, otherwise you would get alerts all the time whilst using the boat! :facepalm::lol: although you could turn it back on when it is in storage!

The Rewires go into sleep mode apparently, to save on power, but I am not worried about this because my new rib will have 2 big batteries, and when in storage I will connect them to a solar trickle...
