Lot of the cats and other trailer boats built here are max 2.5m because strict rules of trailer width... the permit for over width boats was brought in on the back of lots of boats being imported...

Pop small timber wedges in as you go . It helps to separate it. I used a water lubricated, thin, sharp blade. Oh and don’t forget to hold your mouth in the right position 🤬
