Stator plate

I have put new plugs in for the sake of it just in case, but I will check earths but I don't think that comes into play when checking the resistance of the coils on the stator :)

Stator plate

So we have any one good with outboard electrics, I have a yamaha f40 that won't start and I'm getting a weak spark.
So far I have tested the stator plate as I think that is where the issue is and...

well i replaced the head gasket and all seems fine now, there was a small blow between the cylinders into the water ways :thumbs: now pumps water each and every start :)

the original plan was to run the engine at 100:1...

the original plan was to run the engine at 100:1 but thought to help wear on the engine run it at 75:1
maybe that was not such a good idea :whistling:
