55hp on sr5.4
my mate has just blown a piston on his 90hp 2-stroke on a 5.4sr and as the engine is old has decided enough is enough
so hes putting his spare yam 55hp 2-stroke on.
what sort of speed etc is he...

bowed transum on sr4
ive just taken the engine off the back of my sr4 project and the transum is in a bit of a mess:nonono:, the transum has bowed big style and i took the edgeing strip off and its rotten right through...

since my last post we`ve fitted new sparks and coils still not cured!!!!!!:bang::bang:
shes lovely and smooth to half throttle 17-18 knots then bang she drops a cylinder, back off then she kicks...

they make excellent fishing boats, very stable...
they make excellent fishing boats, very stable ideal for drifting for bass and mackerel, have used her in winter for the cod anchored but you do tend to get blown around by the wind but very stable...
