I have been in contact with safewater and I dont need a permit as my engine is only 4hp (anything under 6 hp is permit free). Strange now that I know I dont need a permit I am thinking of doing...

RYA Level 2 for launching on Wirral beaches
Hi
I was wondering if anyone on this forum could help me.
To launch boats on the Wirral using the launch ways you need a council permit and to gain this permit you need RYA level 2 powerboat.
