Did you have to undo a bolt which holds the gear...

Did you have to undo a bolt which holds the gear selector rods together halfway up which was covered by a bung?
If so you may just need to fiddle about with the connecting rods before you retighten...

The "commercial use" law I think only applies to companies involved in Marine activities eg Marine biologists and fisheries and not for trips with customers! I think! :)

I inquired by email to this place and was told "no private vessels allowed". Having said that I did tell them I had a 2smoker. They do hire boats out so maybe they just want people to hire them...
