Dead opposite Calshot ... annoyingly looks OK from this elevation, seems that a northerly wind is far less aggressive than a south westerly!?

Totally agree with the sentiment of experiencing challenging conditions in numbers, I wouldn't want to do this in my 6M rib on my own, but in numbers I'm looking forward to it.... tally ho 😬

Sounds good for us coming down from the Hamble .. Can I just ask that 1030 is a fixed departure from Calshot, there's nothing more frustrating than getting to an RV and everyone's left early 😞 ......

Unless anyone took over their tools they've closed down. Their workshop (or where it used to be) is just down the road from me and it closed down 3 or more years ago.
