Weight is not the only issue. I have been stopped towing my 8.1 behind a Discovery. Well within weight limits but over the 7.0M length permisible with thsi class of vehicle.

we have a suzuki 6hp four stroke on 8M scorpion. We have been forced to use it several times this summer With no wind and tide effect it makes 6Knts with main leg up at push.

The big hondas have a neutral switch on the engine. The control units have no protection most usually state this on casing. many people who have driven my 225 find it hard to work out when it is in...

Just spent 2 week in salcombe. Fuel barge price was £1.15 so we went to plymouth and fueled up at battery marina for 98p. Mine you I did take on 250Lts so there was some small logic in the trip....

I trailed an F100 for 2 years. Gave up on support lever as it was prone to bending. end up with engine in up position on hydraulics with straps holding engine to transom bracket to stop any bounce....

Champagne was great unfortunately as you can see in attached pic glasses did not survive trip from Braye to Cherbourge to well. we also had 2 can of stella explode in bow locker.
