I've had 25kts on one occasion with only my son...

I've had 25kts on one occasion with only my son and I on board when he was wee, but generally the top my futura fr with a 20 yam will do is 23kts.

I get a wonderful cock tail in my 4.2 futura with a 20 Yamaha short shaft when doing over 18 kts, but very little comes back into the boat. Are you running a long or short shaft?

Loch Sunart is good too with camp sites on the northern shore. Lots of wildlife, bays, beaches and islands to explore and Mull is within easy reach.

Cruises comfortably with two adults and two children at 15kts, top speed I've recorded on GPS with two adults is 24kts.

That's the 4.2m Futura Fastroller with a 2 stroke Yamaha 20hp.
