this gauge of 1 gall /10 hp was for the old standard basic 2 stroke engines, carb's only... so no fuel injection, no returning fuel with lean...

i was told when i had 2 strokers that fuel consumption was 1 gallon /10 hp.

so your 55hp would be looking at 5.5 gallons / hour or 25 litres/hour.

which for a SR4 with 55hp guessing your top...

i have done pleasure boats foredecks by masking the patches required ,painting a good layer of under coat...

i have just had a complete engine rebuild of a df250 after the swivel bracket and lower leg unit have corroded away.

2 years ago i had the main tilt ram corrode through like someone...

tube protection

i have just renewed the top sections of my tubes with new blue hypalon after the original tops got really faded and thin.
i have a feeling that some of the damage was done by me being a bit keen...

boats having a bit of tlc ,ive covered the tubes and fitted new wear patches and i just need to check that i'm using the right glue on the new rubbing strake and new cleats.

i have sanded back...

yes i have read about 12 threads about tube cleaning (hypalon) and tfr,persil,polymarine,rib revive etc can all be used..

my tubes are dark blue, the rib is left afloat 12 months a year...
