Yep sounds right - I have a 4.9 with 60hp 2 stroke and solo I can just hit 35 knots - but the fastest thing is the speed the fuel gauge drops !

Welcome - having also bought a boat that I love but had worn out tubes I think you will need to get it re tubed it’s like having a new boat - leave it on pontoons with no worries etc.
