Thanks for the info guys.

The only way I could see to get a deep water mooring was to stay on one of the Salcombe Houseboat Holiday boats. Did this a couple of years ago and can recommend it.

I agree completely that two batteries would be way better but I just don't have the room. My battery is in my single jocky which also houses my aux. fuel tank. Thanks for your comments....
