2007 MY Mercury Optimax 175 XL

The proverbial rocking horse poo - and two come up for sale within days of each other
A nice set up if anyone wants twins with Millers' :-)

Optimax 175 XL Purchased and owned by me from new in March 2009 direct from dealer from Barrus stock, and commissioned March 2009 . For sale having decided to 'downgrade' to a F150 4S

Well maintained and cared for and serviced annually by MJ Marine Services (authorized Merc dealer)

I have used Quickleen rigorously with all fuel tank fills and always flushed the engine after use - often with Salt-away. Both of these are intended to keep the internals as clean as possible - carbon build up or salt

All receipts and printouts available. The last service was 6th Feb at 902 run hours and she now has 971 showing on the smartcraft
At 902 hrs service :
501 at 0-749 rpm ( diving biased use as well as 2-3 weeks gentle crusing in the Ionian yearly )
151 hrs at 750- 2999 rpm
150 hrs at 3000-3999 rpm
85 hrs at 4000 - 4999 rpm
7.3 hrs at 5000-6249 rpm

I have maintained regardless of cost and the following major parts have been replaced during its life.

The compressor is the latest model and was changed out as a precaution as were the standard steel reeds which were changed for fibre. (Chris Carson Marine USA)
Replace Air compressor 06/12/2014 804 hrs #8M0060053
Replace Reed Valves Chris Carson Marine Fibre 21/01/2016

Waranty replaced items

Full set of new Ignition coils (after failure of No 6) fitted 28/08/2011 339 hrs #883778A02

The other parts were warranty surrounding an issue with the revs dropping when operating the trim

Replace LP Fuel pump 29/03/2014 702 hrs
New Alternator 17/02/2014 #8M0064021
Power trim assembly complete 28/02/2014 # 855998A11

Open to offers - this is currently on my RIB but will be also be able to be viewed and seen running on a stand at my marine engineers place once I have replaced it

I also have a number of service items - including new LP & HP fuel pumps, poppet valve kit, Air filters, Water pump kit (full kit) grommets for the flywheel cover mounts, alternator belt tensioner bracket ......... I liked to keep plently of spares, bought from USA
