matt finish gelcoat

Is it possible to get a matt finish on gelcoat, or very non gloss. Like a military paint almost?

Thanks gt

scotch bright?

Will it stay matt or always buff up and shine and become a pain?

Would dark colours work better?

Once it's dull it will stay that way, it will show hand marks more readily though, grey covers well

Thanks Biff. Haven't found refine on a Google. What sort of grade is it like? I'll experiment on a spare panel

You can get fine and ultra fine pads from any car paint suppliers, they use them between spray coats to prep painted surfaces

As Biff said any paint supplier should have these
