Ardnanmurchan, accomodation.

Not sure if anyone can help me out here,
I'm planning a dive trip to Ardnamurchan and wondered if anyone knew about digs... Could do with a bunkhouse for about ten people.
Thought there would be more than I can find on tinter web !?!

Help greatly received

Phil

Depends on where you are lanching and whether you are taking the boats out each night.
Once you go round the corner there are only a few useable slips but plenty of marginal ones.
This then decides where you are staying, particularly if you are taking the boats out each night.

Stayed at resipole campsite before and you can launch there. Or you could wild camp some nice spots.

Are you looking for somewhere within Ardnamurchan itself? Not much there, and thus not much accommodation! Might be easier (both from accomodation and getting their with a trailer) to launch go to somewhere around tobermory and cross by boat?

There are two bunk houses I can think of in Ardnamurchan. One is on the west side, but a good few miles from the sea. Untitled Document the other is http://www.ariundlecentre.co.uk/but well inland.

Tend to stay in Tobermory, you can get fills at the pontoons. If the weathers good you can out and round Ardnamurchan up to the Small Isles and Bo Fascadale etc, or go south to the Aurania or across to Coll for the Tahpti.

If the weathers crap you can dive the usual sound of Mull stuff.

+1 for Resipole campsite, we stayed in one of the lodges a few years back, excellent location and not too difficult to get, even from Merseyside just a long day towing each way. Cracking boating if the weather is good
