Icelandic 4x4s in their Natural Habitat.

Bwa-ha-ha!

(that wee Merc van would make a nice rib support truck :))

I love the look of the van/bus

I couldn't be more jealous, it's a dream of mine that one day I'll get to do a trip like that on a glacier.

I'd love to convert my Shogun to look like the Silver or White ones, but think it would be a bit over the top for the UK.

As bedajim says the van looks cool.

Didn't notice a single green oval product. :bolt:

Brilliant pics Bogi. I'll have to join Nasher in the "I'd like to do that" stakes. Make me want to hop on a plane and join you right now.

A couple of us NW ribsters are planning a (4th for me) visit in summer 2010 for a spot of cross country hiking. Not taking the Defender this time, or the rib ;)

I couldn't recommend the place more, and there's never been a better time to visit. It's not a destination for indoors types, or shoppers...

Mrs willk will be taking a rain check again!

Codders, I had the pleasure of meeting the creator of these fantastic monsters, a Mr. Snorri Gisslason. He sorted a fecked CV joint for me when I was in extremis. He does the vast bulk of the cutting and fabrication in house, quite an operation. Meeting a few of the results on the road was quite humbling

You are all welcome across and Willks would love to meet up again.

The Sprinter van was modified and is owned by my wife´s uncle, it is a piece of a vehicle.

The white Montero with all the antennas is also a good friend of mine.
