Locks how good are these?
 
Lock wanted for 140 suzuki.
which one of these?

can get the ebay(one above is Yamaha) one for a suzuki.

I'd want to look at the Yamaha one closer before buying it to make sure it won't sieze solid.

Hard to say. I've got one here waiting to fit. It doesn't look fantastically secure-but it'll be hard enough to remove that it'd be easier for them to do their rather destructive trick of chainsawing off the transom.

At least it'll be removable as long as you don't lose the socket!

does it just fit over the original bolt? Take off the nut replace with this?
Are there any locks out there that go the whole way through the transom?

How long were you waiting for this from the states from the time you put in the order?

About 2 weeks-but I didn't buy from Brownspoint. Mine was from Ebay USA. The lock will fit in a jiffy bag though so shipping is really cheap.

No. It's for an outboard with a clamp instead of bolts through the transom.
