    Thats classic military. I have a plaque on my Willard 730 with fuel stripping instructions. The military was obsessed with water in fuel and must be a major problem for them.

    Indeed, however. This motor is designed to be submerged underwater for up to a weeks time at depths of +400'. These instructions are how to start the outboard up after being fully submerged. A normal outboard would be destroyed!
