Hi
Had a 4.2m and 5.2m Zodiacs and found both to be excellent sturdy, all day boats. Have a new Yam F70 on the 5.2m and find it's a great combination, last year did 130nm up the west of Scotland on a single trip. Can't fault them.

The Zodiac is a much better built boat than a Brig. Quality of the fabric seems to be much better as well.

I have a 2004 550 open pro with a 100hp Yamaha on the back, i have had it for about a year and have found it to be an excellent rib. Great power to weight ratio (in excess of 35knts and really stable), really nice quality finish, some very useful storage including extensive easy access under deck storage, and it looks really sporty as well. I know the zodiacs have had their critics on here but as an all round family friendly under 6m rib they take a lot of beating and don't hang around long on the open market.

The only thing i would like is an upgrade to the newer standing leaning post.

Hi. Happy with my 550 pro open, she's a good all rounder. Used for skiing , fishing and generally burning petrol! I'm sure you'll be happy with one.
