Wanted - Honwave 3.5 or 3.8

Good morning all

I've just joined and having recently sold my Highfield Ocean Master 390 with a 2 stroke 30hp Mercury I'm looking for a smaller boat for my son.

My son has just purchased a very nice 8hp 4 stroke Yamaha so now needs a boat to put it on. Please do get in touch if you have a Honwave 3.5 or 3.8 for sale, I'm located at RG9 5TX so as close as possible to this address would be great.

I would have thought a slightly smaller SIB might suit your son using an 8hp??

Also would comment the 3.5 being alloy floor, heavy and very fiddly to assemble is a slightly different beast to the V air floor 3.8.

But perhaps you have this all thought through??

Thanks for the info my son has done lots of research and has experience of using a friends 3.5 with alloy floor, he will be using it on the Thames so I would think that the 8hp will be perfect..

If your son is a teen... not a 16st rugby player and doesn't want to take out 3 large mates... and perhaps this is his first SIB of his own which he sets up himself... then I would have thought a Honwave 3.2 air floor would have been an ideal size for him and the 8hp.

Enjoy it they are great boats, I’ve just gone and bought a T38!!
